This training accessory brings real-world inputs and outputs to DAC's
#463, SLC-500 training system. Devices are controlled by constructing electrical
circuits using an internal power supply, or by ladder logic programming
using the DAC SLC-500 PLC trainer. Interconnections are made through the
use of banana jack patch cords and receptacles on each device.
The associated curriculum includes twenty-three activities including:
- Ten activities operating in the stand-alone mode.
- Ten activities operating with a PLC.
- Three application activities.
Operating devices include: a thermostat, relays, solenoids, horn, linear
actuator worm drive, reversible motor, thumbwheel, push button switches,
limit switch, toggle switches, and lights. |
