This realistic, fully-functional, pick-and-place pneumatic robot introduces the student to how pneumatic components and controls work together to create robotic applications. The device can be used as a stand-alone training system or it can be used with the DAC #751 or #752 pneumatics trainers, as well is with all PLC trainers. The associated curriculum provides over 10 hours of training in manual operation as well as in automated control using a hand-held programming pendant or control software. Computer-based pre and post tests are provided. The training package includes all components necessary for use, including the robot, programming pendant, programming software and a programmable valve pack. This training system allows for a complete introductory learning experience in basic robotics, advanced pneumatic applications and control programming.
