Rotary Kiln Trainer |
#241 | |
This heavy-duty, steel, benchtop training device allows for realistic training in maintenance activities associated with large rotary kilns. Based on a common kiln manufactured by the Fuller Corporation, but representative of many kilns used in industry, this device will help make training in set-up of kiln drive components more convenient and productive. A segmented steel kiln shell, machined from schedule 80 pipe, allows for modifications simulating irregularities in shell construction commonly found in the field. A complete, motorized gear and pinion drive system is provided, allowing for establishment of proper mesh patterns. Adjustable kiln rollers and thrust rollers are included allowing for adjustments in alignment and tracking. Through a variety of realistic features, this device allows for realistic training in maintenance practice prior to performing work in the field, without jeopardizing actual equipment. |
