This realistic, benchtop training system, combines the most important features or our #275 Pump Maintenance Trainer, and our #208 Coupling/Shaft Alignment Trainer. Using an actual standard ANSI centrifugal pump, the device allows for instruction in the complete tear-down and assembly procedure for this common pump type. Additionally, a clear acrylic "backhead" is provided, allowing for realistic instruction in pump packing procedures and the installation of mechanical seals. Further, a simulated motor element and coupling is provided, allowing for training in shaft alignment. This motor element, through movable flanged bearings, allows for variation in angular and parallel misalignment, creating a wide variety of alignment opportunities. This portable, yet rugged and heavy-duty training device will help make training in centrifugal pump maintenance more realistic, informative and productive.

FEATURES 7-Gauge, formed-steel, powder-coated baseplate with provision for table-top mounting. Actual Griswold, ANSI pump (similar to a Goulds 3196 ST pump). Clear acrylic, standard bore, backhead/stuffing box, allowing for view of the packing/seal area. Allows for complete tear-down and assembly procedure of the pump. Aluminum motor element, based on a 184-frame motor, including movable flanged bearings. Replaceable, 3/4" dia., steel shaft with keyways. (Bent shafts easily installed) Heavy-duty, aluminum motor mounting pads, with threaded inserts for motor element mounting. Uses inexpensive, standard, size A shims. Allows for alignment using using all common alignment tools and methods. Provision for motor adjustment via jacking bolts. Provision for mounting on the DAC #905 Electromechanical Bench. High-durability, urethane coatings throughout. Overall size 13-1/2"W x 36"L x 15-1/4"H (155 lbs.). Crating for shipment via motor freight.
