This re-manufactured, full-size industrial pump, allows for convenient classroom training in the operation, construction, and maintenance of a standard, horizontally-split, multi-stage pump, commonly used in applications requiring high pressure head ratings, such as in boiler feed pumps. Due to its split-case construction, the casing is not cut away, however color-coding of internal components helps showcase the internal configuration and unique features of the pump. Common industrial pump brands and models are chosen, such as the Goulds 3316 pump, shown in the associated photograph. Seal features, hardware locations and bearings are retained, allowing for use in maintenance-related training activities. All common maintenance procedures applicable to the pump can be performed. This realistic training demonstrator will make introductory courses in pump maintenance and operation more productive, realistic and memorable.

FEATURES Reconditioning of an actual horizontally-split pump. A Goulds, Model 3316 is most often provided (other pump makes and models, such as those manufactured by Flowserve, Byron-Jackson, Pacific, Ingersoll-Rand and others are possible). Disassembly, cleaning, priming and painting using a high-durability urethane coating. Color-coding of inner surfaces, seal elements, impellers and external surface, using contrasting colors. Replacement, plated hardware. Custom, steel channel baseplate, with integrated support pedestals. Approximate size of 21"W x 21"H x 24"L (440 lbs.) Crating for shipment via motor freight.
